We’re excited to provide Adero products directly to our customers through the Adero online store. If at any time within 30 days of receiving your Adero online purchase you are not satisfied, you may return it to us for a full refund. Any items damaged due to reasons not covered by the warranty cannot be returned for a refund under this policy.
This guarantee only applies to Adero online store at Adero.com. It does not cover retail store purchases or purchases from unauthorized distributors. If you are experiencing a quality issue, we would be happy to exchange your product. Please follow the instructions below.
ADERO.COM RETURN INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org and tell us why you would like a refund/exchange. Please also include your order ID or email address used to make the purchase.
2. After receiving authorization from a Customer Support representative, please package products and mail to:

3. Be sure to mail your item promptly. Your return package must be postmarked no more than 30 days after your return request has been authorized. Note: The buyer must pay shipping fees. Return shipping fees are not refundable.
Additional terms and conditions:
- Shipping and processing fees and taxes paid (such as state, customs, or VAT) are not refundable.
- You are responsible for all shipping charges and you assume the risk of loss or damage to the returned Product(s) while in transit back to Adero.
- All returns require that a return authorization form be submitted, which can be obtained from Customer Support.
YOUR RIGHTS AND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights that vary by state, province or jurisdiction. The disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations of liability under this Limited Warranty and the Agreement will not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law. For a full description of your legal rights, you should refer to the laws applicable in your jurisdiction and you may wish to contact a relevant consumer advisory service.
WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS; PERIOD OF COVERAGE
Adero, Inc. (“Adero”), located in Santa Barbara, California, USA, warrants to the purchaser of the Adero hardware and products (“Hardware”) that the Hardware will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery following the original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If the Hardware fails to conform to this Limited Warranty during the Warranty Period, Adero will, at its sole discretion, either (a) replace any defective Hardware or component; or (b) accept the return of the Hardware and refund the money paid by the original purchaser for the Hardware. Replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components, at Adero’s sole discretion. If the Hardware or a component incorporated within it is no longer available, Adero may replace the Hardware with a similar product of similar function, at Adero’s sole discretion. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this Limited Warranty. Any Hardware that has been replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered by the terms of this Limited Warranty for the longer of ninety (90) days from the date of delivery or the remaining Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty is transferable from the original purchaser to subsequent owners, but the Warranty Period will not be extended in duration or expanded in coverage for any such transfer.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS; HOW TO CLAIM UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
Before being able to claim under this Limited Warranty, the owner of the Hardware must (a) notify Adero of the intention to claim by e-mailing support@Adero.com during the Warranty Period and providing a description of the alleged failure, and (b) comply with Adero’s return shipping instructions. Adero will have no warranty obligations with respect to returned Hardware if it determines, in its reasonable discretion after examination of the returned Hardware, that the Hardware is an Ineligible Hardware (defined below). Adero will bear all costs of return shipping to the owner, except with respect to any ineligible Hardware, for which owner will bear all shipping costs.
WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This Limited Warranty does not cover the following (collectively “Ineligible Hardware”): Hardware marked as “sample” or sold “AS IS”; Hardware sold by unauthorized Adero retailers; or Hardware that has been subject to (a) modifications, including, but not limited to, the use of non-Adero provided Keyrings, adhesives, and accessories, alterations, tampering, or improper maintenance or repairs; (b) handling, storage, installation, testing, or use not in accordance with Adero’s user’s guide accompanying such Hardware or other written instructions provided by Adero; (c) abuse or misuse of the Hardware; (d) breakdowns, fluctuations, or interruptions in electric power or the telecommunications network; or (e) Acts of God, including lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane. This Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, including batteries unless damage is due to defects in materials or workmanship of the Hardware, or software (even if packaged or sold with the Hardware). Unauthorized use of the Hardware or any Adero software can impair the Hardware’s performance and may invalidate this Limited Warranty.
